Ingredients

  • 500g ground turkey
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 400ml tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, sauté chopped onions and garlic until translucent.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in chopped vegetables like bell peppers and carrots; cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Season mixture with salt, pepper, and herbs of your choice.
  5. In a separate pot, blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water until tender and pliable.
  6. Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture onto each leaf, rolling tightly.
  7. Line the bottom of a crockpot with tomato sauce.
  8. Arrange cabbage rolls in the crockpot, seam side down, and cover with remaining tomato sauce.
  9. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
