Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400g can crushed tomatoes
  • 200ml water
  • Fresh coriander for garnish
  • Toasted pine nuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 500g ground beef, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon coriander, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
  2. Mix in 1 small finely chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves until fully integrated.
  3. Shape the mixture into 10-12 small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
  4. In your crockpot, pour in a 400g can of crushed tomatoes and 200ml water.
