Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken thighs (about 800g)
  • 2 Preserved lemons, sliced
  • 1 cup Green olives
  • 1 teaspoon Saffron threads
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Gather chicken thighs, preserved lemons, green olives, saffron, garlic, onion, olive oil, and spices.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chicken thighs until golden brown on each side.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the crockpot, followed by the seared chicken thighs.
  4. Slice preserved lemons and add them along with green olives and saffron to the crockpot.
