Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 400 grams pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 200 grams bacon, chopped
  • 300 milliliters BBQ sauce
  • 200 grams shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the cooked beef to the crockpot along with pinto beans, chopped bacon, and BBQ sauce.
  3. Stir the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and cover to allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Once done, serve warm, garnished with additional bacon if desired.
