Ingredients

  • 500 g ground meat (beef or pork)
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 100 g carrots, diced
  • 100 g onions, chopped
  • 150 g fresh spinach, chopped
  • 70 g pastina pasta

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, and seasonings to form small meatballs.
  2. In the crockpot, combine chicken broth, carrots, and onions. Place meatballs in the broth.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until meatballs are cooked through.
  4. Add chopped spinach and pastina to the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
