Ingredients

  • 500g ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 head of lettuce (for wrapping)

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, add ground turkey or chicken, water chestnuts, chopped mushrooms, and diced bell pepper.
  2. Add soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and green onions to the crockpot.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  5. Once cooked, serve the filling in crisp lettuce leaves.
  6. Top with additional green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
