Ingredients

  • 500g ground sausage
  • 480ml milk
  • 60g all-purpose flour
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 4 ready-to-bake biscuits
  • Chopped chives, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by browning 500g of ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together 480ml of milk, 60g of flour, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  4. Layer the cooked sausage into the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. Pour the milk mixture over the sausage evenly.
  6. Open and place 4 ready-to-bake biscuits on top of the sausage and gravy mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle chopped chives for garnish if desired.
