Ingredients

  • 500g diced chicken breast
  • 250g uncooked rice
  • 1 can (400ml) cream of chicken soup
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 150g shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, combine 500g of diced chicken breast, 250g of uncooked rice, and 1 can (400ml) of cream of chicken soup.
  2. Add 500ml of chicken broth, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle 150g of shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover again to melt the cheese.
  6. Once cooked, stir gently to combine and serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
