Ingredients

  • 500g lean ground turkey
  • 400g kidney beans
  • 200g corn
  • 300g diced tomatoes
  • 150g diced carrots
  • 1 diced onion
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large crockpot, add 500g of lean ground turkey and break it up into small pieces.
  2. Add 400g of kidney beans (drained and rinsed), 200g of corn, 300g of diced tomatoes, 150g of diced carrots, and 1 diced onion.
  3. Pour in 500ml of chicken broth and add 2 tablespoons of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Set the crockpot to low heat and let it cook for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once the cooking time is up, check the consistency and adjust seasonings as desired.
  7. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese and your favorite toppings.
  8. For extra flavor, consider adding jalapeños or a squeeze of lime before serving.
