Ingredients

  • 4 lean turkey cutlets (about 500g)
  • Juice of 2 lemons (about 100ml)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (about 240ml)

Instructions

  1. Season the turkey cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  3. Place the turkey cutlets in the crockpot.
  4. Pour the lemon-garlic mixture over the cutlets.
  5. Add lemon slices around and on top of the turkey.
  6. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  7. Once cooked, check that the internal temperature is 165°F (74°C).
  8. Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve hot.
