Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg chuck beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 500 ml beef broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 250 g egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck with salt and pepper, then sear it in a hot skillet until browned on all sides.
  2. Transfer the beef to the crockpot and add beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until the beef is tender and shreds easily.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, prepare the egg noodles according to package instructions.
