  • 2 Cornish hens (approx. 1 kg each)
  • 240ml fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by rinsing the Cornish hens under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 240ml of orange juice, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger (grated), salt, and pepper for seasoning.
  3. Place the hens in the crockpot, breast side up, and pour the orange juice mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.
