Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the crockpot. Line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 500g ground beef, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
  3. Add 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, and mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and carefully place it in the prepared crockpot.
  5. Wrap 8 slices of bacon around the meatloaf, tucking the ends underneath.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup BBQ sauce with 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Brush the BBQ glaze generously over the bacon-wrapped meatloaf.
  8. Cover the crockpot with its lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until cooked through.
  9. Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the crockpot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
