  • 500g beef, cubed
  • 400g black beans
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400g diced tomatoes
  • 2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 500ml beef broth
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the beef into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a skillet, brown the beef on all sides over medium-high heat.
  3. Transfer the browned beef to the crockpot.
  4. Drain and rinse the black beans, then add them to the crockpot.
  5. Chop the onions and garlic, adding them to the crockpot along with diced tomatoes and chipotle peppers.
  6. Sprinkle in the cumin, chili powder, and smoked paprika.
  7. Add the beef broth, stirring to combine all ingredients.
