Ingredients

  • 500g smoked ham hock
  • 250g dried white beans
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by placing the ham hock in the crockpot.
  2. Rinse and drain the white beans and add them to the crockpot.
  3. Chop onions, carrots, and celery and add to the mix.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth and add bay leaves, thyme, and black pepper for seasoning.
