Ingredients

  • 4 Italian sausages
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the Italian sausages on all sides. Remove from skillet and slice into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Add chopped onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  3. In a crockpot, combine the sliced sausages, sautéed onions, and garlic.
  4. Add chopped kale, canned tomatoes, and chicken broth to the crockpot.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Stir everything together and cover the crockpot.
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
