Ingredients

  • 500g ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 100g chopped spinach
  • 50g sun-dried tomatoes
  • 100g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 200g tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 500g ground turkey, 1 egg, 100g breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add 100g chopped spinach and 50g sun-dried tomatoes to the turkey mixture, mixing gently to incorporate.
  3. Place half of the turkey mixture in the bottom of the crockpot, pressing it down evenly.
  4. On top of the turkey layer, add 100g shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Top the cheese with the remaining turkey mixture, forming a loaf shape.
  6. Spread 200g tomato sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F) and the meatloaf is cooked through.
  8. Once done, let it sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
