This method gives the meatballs their characteristic shiny appearance and sweet, savory flavor profile. While teriyaki is often associated with chicken or fish, ground beef or pork works beautifully for meatballs, making this dish versatile and crowd-pleasing. Teriyaki dishes have gained popularity worldwide, becoming a staple in many Asian-American cuisines, and this recipe serves as a great introduction to this culinary tradition.
